First plug the charger leads into your power supply.
Next, plug the balance tap into the correct balance port of the charger.
Note: There are 2 2S balance ports. Use the top left port for charging one pack at a time. See instructions below* for charging 2 2S packs at the same time.
The balance ports are numbered for the number of cells in the lipo/life-po battery you will be charging.
Plug the battery pack to the charger.
Make sure the Lipo/LiFe switch on the end of the charger is set for the correct type of battery you are charging.
Press the left "MODE" button until the screen reads "CHARGE."
Next, press the right "START" button. Set the correct amp rate for the battery you are charging by pressing the middle "SET" button until you reach the charge rate you want. The cell count is automatically detected.
Press the "START" button once more to activate the charging process and that's it!
*For charging 2 2S Lipo packs at the same time you MUST follow the proper hookup sequence! You must also make sure both packs are very close to the same voltage as each other and that both batteries are the same capacity and C rating. You will need a "series" adapter to connect the two packs together. See the link below. http://www.promatchracing.com/products.php?cat=29
1. Connect the input leads to the power supply.
2. Connect the first Lipo to the top left balance port.
3. Connect the second lipo to the lower left balance port.
4. Connect the two packs to a "series" adapter.
5. Make sure the output leads are disconnected from the charger and plug the series adapter into the output plug of the charge leads.
6. Plug the output leads into the charger positive lead first and then the negative lead.
Failure to follow this procedure exactly may cause damage to the charger and or the battery pack! Do not connect saddle/split style Lipo packs in this manner! Damage will occur!
