Pro-Match Racing uses an exclusive patented induction heating process and a custom blended eutectic solder paste to solder the battery bars to the ends of the cells on all of our side by side packs. This process eliminates the chance of damage to the cells from overheating. The entire process to solder a battery bar to the cells takes less than 3 seconds! The induction head focuses the heat to the battery bar and applies just the right amount of heat to melt the solder to the bar and the cell. We have been utilizing this exclusive assembly process for many years and refining it so that you recieve the best assembly possible!
You won't see cheap overseas assembly when WE build your 4600 "Stick" style packs either. They are assembled right here "in house" with premium heavy gauge nickel tabbing with 8 weld points per tab and a heavy duty battery bar across the bottom of the pack (where many packs fail!) We even pay attention to the small details like the special soft yet durable (to lessen the chance of cracking) bottom and top end caps that are installed. A plastic "shotgun" tube is used to strengthen the pack latterally. Heavy duty 12 gauge wire is also used. Finally the pack is wrapped in a clear shrink and your choice of plug is installed. |
